Outstanding Teaching Assistant and Lab Demonstrator Awards 2011/12

The Department introduced Teaching Assistant and Lab Demonstrator Awards this academic year. This will be an annual event, intended to remind teaching assistants and lab demonstrators that they play a very important role in the Department and that their hard work is recognised and appreciated by both staff and students.
The winners of the first awards were:

Christopher Hampson – Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award

Krzysztof Rosset – Outstanding Lab Demonstrator Award
We identified one Runner Up for providing strong competition for Chris.

Martin Chapman – Outstanding Teaching Assistant
Finally, there are also two "Notable Mentions" for those who have been strongly recognised by students for their contributions.

Christos Hadjinikolis –Outstanding Teaching Assistant
The two winners both received a cash prize of £250 and all five will be presented with certificates marking their achievements.
