Prestigious Guest Lecturers for Complex Systems Module

Three distinguished invited lecturers will deliver master classes for the module 7CCMCS07 Research Methods and Advanced Topics in Complex Systems in the academic year 2012/13. This module is part of the MSc in Complex Systems Modelling.

The lecturers are internationally renowned experts in the field of statistical mechanics of disordered systems and interdisciplinary applications.

 They are:

  •  Leticia Cugliandolo, a Professor at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris VI and Director of the l'Ecole de Physique des Houches
  •  Richard Blythe, a RCUK Academic Fellow at the University of Edinburgh.  
  •  Satya Majumdar, Director of Research at Laboratoire de Physique Theorique et Modeles Statistiques, Universite Paris-Sud
