Physics at the Nanoscale

The seminars series 'P@N' takes place at Physics Department, held on each Wednesdays (except the first) at 2pm in the School Meeting Room SB7.06, Strand Building, Physics Department.

The aims of the P@N series are:

  • to keep the members of our Research Groups up to date with the most cutting edge areas of nanophysics research;
  • to train our PhD and Master students;
  • to foster a collaborative research atmosphere

The format is a 45 minute talk, followed by 15 minutes of questions followed by a coffee/tea break.

Since we are an interdisciplinary bunch (physics, materials science, chemistry, engineering etc.) a wide introduction as well as a general overview are strongly suggested.

To favour the discussion a coffee/tea break will follow the seminar.

All are welcome to attend.

A list of past P@N seminars can be found below.
