Thomas Young Centre
King's College London is a partner of the Thomas Young Centre (TYC) for theory and simulation of materials. Aims of the TYC include the organization of seminars on computational material modelling and the promotion of a collaborative environment among the computational condensed matter community in London. The TYC management structure consists of an Executive Board, comprising representatives of the stakeholders, and a Steering Committee. King's College London is represented on the Executive Board by Dr. A. De Vita (Physics Dept., as vice-chairman) and Dr. M. Miodownik (Engineering Dept.).
