 Healthcare workforce, organisation and service delivery is a programme of work contributes to the understanding of health care systems at national, regional and global levels, particularly with regard to equity, access to care and workforce issues.  Within this the National Nursing Research Unit (NNRU)’s major policy research programme for the Department of Health examines how the organisation of the nursing workforce impacts upon service delivery and organisation within the NHS and beyond.
