Scholarships

The Faculty is delighted to be able to offer a variety of scholarships to our students. Awards available in 2016/2017 are listed below. Information is subject to change as new deadlines are announced.

Undergraduate Desmond Tutu Scholarship 2017 Awards available for £1,000. Students wishing to apply need to have received an offer to study at King's and must submit an essay and application. Full details. The deadline for applications is 31st March 2017.
Undergraduate  Perseverance Trust Scholarship (UG) 2016   Up to 5 awards per year worth £7,500. Applications are invited from students undertaking the 3-year BSc Nursing or Midwifery programmes, who are able to provide evidence of financial need. Full details. The deadline for applications is Friday, 7 October 2016.
Undergraduate Perseverance Trust Hardship Bursary 2015 Awards are available from £500, depending on individual circumstances. Applications are invited from students undertaking the 3-year BSc Nursing or Midwifery programmes, who are able to provide evidence of financial need.

Full details. You can apply from 15th October 2015 onwards.

Postgraduate International Students

Postgraduate Taught International Scholarship 2017/18

An award of £25,000 is available for tuition fees.

Postgraduate taught applicants who hold an 'unconditional/conditional offer' for a place on a full masters degree programme. 

Full details. The deadline for applications is 1st May 2017. (You should apply for a place no later than 31st March 2017).

Postgraduate

King's Satander Master's Scholarship (SANT-M) 2017/18

An award of £5,000 is available to candidates applying for a full masters taught postgraduate programme.

Applicants are invited from all home students UK and EU students (from specific countries).

Full details The deadline for applications is 1st May 2017. (You should apply for a place no later than 31st March 2017).

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Scheme (CSSS) 

CSSS award is for the MSc Clinical Nursing postgraduate taught course 2017/18.

The award will cover full tuition fees, airfare to and from the UK, a monthly maintenance allowance, and additional thesis grant and travel allowance

Applicants must be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person.

Postgraduate Diploma Nursing       
 

Postgraduate Diploma Nursing Studentships 2016

 

 

 

Up to 5 awards per year worth £5,000.

 

 

 

 

 

Applications are invited from students undertaking the 2-year Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Nursing, who are able to provide evidence of financial need. Full details can be found here.

 

Applications are invited from graduates who will need to have an upper second or first degree. Full details.

Postgraduate 

The RCN Foundation Margaret Parkinson Scholarship Scheme 

 

Up to £2,000 per year for graduates from a non-nursing degree who wish to undertake a course in Nursing.

Applications are invited from graduates who hold an upper second or first class degree and be commencing their first year on a Nursing course between 15 March 2016 and 1 April 2017. 

Full details. The deadline for applications is 5pm on 31 August 2016.

Postgraduate CLAHRC South London A limited number of scholarships are available to applicants wishing to study on the Implementation & Improvement Science programme starting September 2016. Applicants working or living in south London who wish to start the course full time or part-time.
