This lecture is also The Journal of Common Market Studies' Annual Review lecture and will be followed by a discussion with the audience and chaired by Dr Tim Haughton of the University of Birmingham and Dr Nathaniel Copsey, Co-Director of the Aston Centre for Europe, who are the co-editors of the JCMS AR.
