PURPOSE
The Education for Healthcare Professionals is designed for those engaged in healthcare education, whether as lecturers or as practitioners. It aims to develop an research informed understanding of the principles of teaching and learning and the application of these within education and practice settings.
DESCRIPTION
Students on the nursing and midwifery professional record will have the opportunity to complete the post graduate certificate in education for healthcare professionals (PG Cert HCP) and register their teacher qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Arrangements will be made to facilitate teaching practice within the College for international and EU students. An additional charge will apply for this arrangement.
Overseas fee shown includes £6,000 for arranging compulsory teaching experience at King's. For EU students who require arrangement of teaching experience, a further £6,000 will be charged in addition to the Home/EU fee shown.
