Having spent more than two years in cellular industry after my bachelors in telecommunications, I decided to go for masters to further increase my knowledge particularly in the area of mobile communications. I chose King's for several reasons, including its rich history, international reputation for academic excellence, superb facilities, vibrant academic community and perfect location in the heart of London. But more importantly, my decision was heavily influenced by the unique course structure for mobile communications which is not offered at any other UK university.

 

Initially the thought of going to a new country was accompanied by different worries. However the help and support shown by friendly staff, particularly during orientation days made me adjust quickly in London. Living here is an exciting experience as there is always something new to do and a chance to meet people from almost every culture and background.

King's provides and enriching and intellectually challenging academic environment for ambitious students. The devoted faculty, regular seminar/trainings and opportunities to work on industry led projects has exposed me to a new learning experience. Based on my experience, I am very much interested in continuing my studies towards a Ph.D.

Overall, It has been a great experience at King's; both academically and socially. I would highly recommend King's to prospective students particularly in the field of mobile communications.
