I chose this course because it's very innovative and knowledge-transfer based. Further, it is very specific in its content and yet diverse enough to add value to my work. The course has a very hands-on approach in its requirements i.e. assignments, face to face teaching and exams.
After I receive the AGDP qualification, I will contribute my services both in the public sector and in the private sector. Specifically, I will be able to run my own practice on a full time basis. The knowledge of both the clinical aspect and the management aspect will add great value to my practice.
Distance learning enables me to maximize my learning and enables me to practice my profession in my home town. Additionally, distance learning gives me the benefit of both a complex and advanced environment in the UK and my own location at home with its peculiarities. In addition, my family is able to benefit. This blend is valuable for every practitioner who is bound to practice in both 'worlds'.
