European Union Law MA, PG Dip

The Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in European Union Law at is a distance learning course which allows students to study for a postgraduate degree from one of the leading law schools in the country from anywhere in the world. The materials for the PG Diploma course are written and updated every year by a specialist in the field.
The international background of the programme is also reflected in my own background. I studied law (first and second state exam) and history in Germany, obtained and LLM from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, hold a PhD from the University of London and previously worked at the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht, Netherlands. My principal research interests are in the field of European Union Law, and in particular its constitutional and administrative law. Amongst my recent publications are a book on the Concept of Legislation in European Community Law (Kluwer, 2006) and, together with Prof. Herwig Hofmann from the University of Luxembourg, an edited book on EU Administrative Governance (Elgar, 2006). I have also just completed a book on Judicial Review in EU Law, which will be published by Elgar later this year.
