I chose to study the MA in Human Values & Contemporary Global Ethics because it is taught by pre-eminent scholars and, with King's having top research rankings in both the Schools of Law and Philosophy, offers great depth of resource. The applied ethics nature of the programme attracts students from a wide and varied mix of backgrounds, which enriches the classes, and provides a genuinely stimulating environment.
Coming to the programme myself, after a career in investment management, I found it both rekindled clarity of intellectual thought and the energy for making a difference. I now work with a microfinance group to expand their operations in sub-Saharan Africa and help them with the process of raising no-/low- interest loan capital. I am looking forward to starting a PhD at the CMLE at King's in the next academic year.
