Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation MSc DL

I wanted to learn more about the field of facial prosthetics and this was a great opportunity for me to get an international education whilst living in Norway.
The lecturers at King's have a great deal of experience both practically and theoretically. This is very important for me as I can learn about a variety of patient cases. The fact that King's College has a solid reputation enforces the quality of the programme. I also like that the course offers updated computer technology education.
When I finish this program I will continue working for a better cooperation with the craniofacial team, especially concerning treatment planning. I already feel more confident in treating patients and I look forward to learning more.
Studying at a distance allows me to study and work in Norway. This enables me to continue to work in Oslo and to live with my family. As I have children in Norway it would be very difficult for me to move to London. I can choose when to study and I can work at home and also continue to work at the hospital.
I think the face-to-face part of the course in London was very rewarding because I got to know the other students and we had a lot of hands on training.
I recommend this programme to colleagues because you get an updated education allowing you to treat patients more confidently. This is a way to get a formal education in the area, studying with other students from many different backgrounds.
