The MRes course in Molecular Biophysics was extremely beneficial as it allowed me to expand both my practical skills as well as scientific knowledge through a combination of lectures, supervised practical classes and providing hands on experience with cutting edge techniques and high-end procedures. Further to this, the intense course work provided me with immense practice while the research project enabled me to acquire new practical skills and knowledge which proved to be indispensible for my current work as a researcher at Kings College London.
By integrating the knowledge of Physical sciences and technologies and their application towards elucidating the molecular intricacies of life, this course truly brings interdisciplinary research to the fore front. It also brought together students from a wide range of backgrounds there by offering a chance of gaining knowledge of other scientific fields as well as an idea about the scope and advancement of science in other parts of the world .
As a self-funded international student, I found the partial scholarship, awarded by the Graduate School, to be immensely assistive. My course of study at King's has provided me with an invaluable opportunity to advance my expertise.
