PURPOSE
This programme, which is supported by NHSPLUS and the Faculty of Occupational Health Physicians, aims to allow trainees in occupational medicine and related disciplines to study the speciality of substance misuse, and the policy and management of alcohol and drug use in the workplace, in greater depth.

DESCRIPTION

Aimed at medical, nursing and allied healthcare professional graduates pursuing a career or with an interest in occupational health. Graduates enter their own sub-speciality within occupational health disciplines. Able to work independently with an appreciation of the research, the ability to critically appraise evidence, and an intrinsic understanding of the science base on which their speciality is based.
