The PG Cert involves a 2-day introduction to academic practice; a taught programme covering core material and optional seminars to support participants' development. Participants also have their teaching observed. The PG Dip investigates professionalism in academic practice, and pedagogic research in higher education culminating in a research proposal that can be developed as master's dissertation.
