Advanced Care in Dementia

Equips students with an interest in health & social care with the knowledge and high-level analytical skills needed to critically assess research evidence and practice for delivery of dementia care. Students will be able to identify and implement changes based on research evidence within a health & social care setting and across a multidisciplinary team and be able to manage and deliver research independently.

• Dementia care training is rated as a very high priority across the private and public sectors by a number of stakeholders.
• Appeals to students with interests in health and social care.
• Varied learning delivered by experts in the field.
• Aims to equip all graduates with specialist knowledge and understanding of dementia care to enhance career opportunities, such as leadership roles within a health and social care environment and future research at PhD level.
