This programme allows you to deepen or to broaden your knowledge of law as an academic subject and assists your development as a legal professional. Designed to maximise students' intellectual potential, it also keeps you grounded by drawing on the real world experiences of staff and other practitioners.
Aimed at recent law graduates (or graduates of joint degrees with a significant law content) as well as established legal professionals who may have graduated a number of years ago, the programme is rigorous and demanding and requires serious commitment.
Reflecting our leading expertise and experience, our specialist LLM options are underpinned by our research centres, think-tanks and advisory work.
However, you may also choose to tailor your LLM to meet your individual interests, requirements and experience, and create a more flexible programme from our broad range of full and half modules.
At the start of the semester you will be given an overview of each specialist LLM option and you will have plenty of time to attend taster lectures and to speak to each module leader to decide whether you want to specialise within a specific legal area or create your own tailored LLM.
