DESCRIPTION
Research of the Accounting, Accountability & Financial Management group explores accounting, accountability and financial management systems in the public, private and finance sectors in their social and organisational contexts. It develops understanding of and proposes changes in these systems using research perspectives that draw from a range of social science disciplines. Accounting, Accountability & Financial Management links directly to a worldwide academic research community under a similar title. Members of the Accounting, Accountability & Financial Management Group at King's are leaders in this wider community.
Current areas of research include: risk management within the corporate and public sectors; performance management in the public sector; the private finance initiative; corporate governance and accountability in an international context; pension fund accounting; market-based accounting research; sustainability reporting and assurance; financial risks attached to climate change and biodiversity risk.

Professor Clubb’s research focuses on theoretical models of the role of accounting information in equity valuation and on the empirical analysis of use of accounting information in capital markets, while his main teaching interest is in the field of financial statement analysis.
