We are internationally known for research in mechanisms, mechatronics, robotics and automation. Our current research projects include reconfigurable mechanisms and robots, autonomous unmanned ground vehicles, robotic excavation systems, automated mine detection systems, automated assembly systems, massaging robotic hands, robotic rehabilitation systems, multi-fingered robotic hands, advanced mechanisms, manipulation, mobile robots, and reconfigurable packaging robotic systems.
Facilities include a mechatronic laboratory, a robotics laboratory, a parallel mechanisms laboratory, robot manipulators, the multi-fingered robotic packing device, mobile robots, a wide range of simulation software, and an advanced CNC machine.
