European Studies (French pathway) with a year abroad BA

Choosing a university and a course can be one of the most daunting experiences of your life but choosing King’s for European Studies was the best decision I could have made. I absolutely loved History, Law, English, French and Politics during high school and knew it’d be such a hard choice to pick just one to study. Of course there are lots of opportunities to study ES at other universities but none offer the chance to live and study at one of the most reputed universities in Paris, Sciences Po, or to choose modules taught by experts in their fields; be within walking distance of the Royal Courts, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery; and having access to some of the greatest student clubs and activities around.

Reading Rousseau with a panoramic view of the finest London sights from the student bar is one of the best experiences I’ve had – you really feel alive!

Of course, at first I was worried about the expense of living in London but having a part-time job has certainly helped and it’s definitely a viable option, especially with the amount of bar and retail jobs available. Plus, the King’s myBursary helps so much too. I’m definitely living the dream!
