Research Interests
 
Resistance training specificity; costs and effectiveness of rehabilitation after orthopaedic injury, disease and surgery with emphasis on muscle weakness, joint laxity and swelling.
 
Current Projects:
 

1. Predisposers to knee anterior cruciate ligament injury in sportswomen. Funded by the Slovenian Ministry of Science to Renata Vauhnik, doctoral student (2nd supervisor: Dr Olga Rutherford)
   
   
2. The effects of serial casting on the morphology of the triceps surae and on walking function in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Funded by Sports Aiding Medical Research for Kids to Dr Adam Shortland (Guy’s), 2nd supervisor of PhD student Anne McNee.
