Aviation Medicine

King’s has built an international reputation for the standard of its Aviation Medicine teaching programmes over a number of years. We collaborate closely with a number of organisations with major interests in the Aviation Medicine sphere, particularly the Medical Branch of the Royal Air Force and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), but also with the medical branches of the Royal Navy and Army, QinetiQ Farnborough and British Airways.

King’s offers three routes to programmes in Aviation Medicine:
 

• Diploma in Aviation Medicine (DAvMed)
• The Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) Basic and Advanced Courses in Aviation Medicine (run in collaboration with the UK CAA)
• Masters in Aviation Medicine
