Student wins Dentsply Ceram.X first prize

Congratulations to BDS5 student Raheel Malik who has won first prize in the Dentsply Ceram.X Case Contest 2009/10 for the UK. His winning entry will be submitted to the international final.The Dentsply Ceram.X Case Contest is aimed at dental students of all levels. To compete for the UK and world title, the students must restore a tooth using the Ceram.X duo nano-ceramic composite from Dentsply.
Dr Shihab Romeed and Professor Stephen Dunne supervised Raheel’s winning case. Last year Raheel was awarded second prize in the 2009 BDA/Dentsply Student Clinician Programme following his research into oral cancer.
