Final year prize winners announced

The Malleson Prize winner, Dr Kerry Herd, with the Dean of the Dental Institute The Dental Institute is very proud of the 2009/10 final year BDS students who won prizes, announced by Dr Mark Woolford, Director of Education, during the recent graduation ceremony at Southwark Cathedral.
 
The prizes, which are awarded annually by the Dental Institute, are based on clinical and academic performance.
Dr Woolford commented: ‘It is always nice to read out the names of graduates, but especially nice to applaud those who have made additional effort and achieved beyond that of their peers. The Dental Institute has a wide range of prizes available to undergraduates and we delight in awarding them, showing the distinctive achievement of the award-winners. Anyone who wins one of these awards has attained something extra-special.’
