Marketing and Social Media in the CCIs
Marketing and Social Media in the CCIs is taking place Thursday 18th March 6:30-8pm, Franklin-Wilson Building room G.73.
For everyone looking to develop a career in the CCIs this event will cover hints and tips for how to market yourself using social media. If you’re interested in a career in marketing this is also a fantastic opportunity to learn about applied marketing from professionals working in this area.
Volker Ballueder will be talking about online reputation management: Are employers really scanning online profiles and tweets? Does lacking an online profile hurt? How do you go about creating or building your online ‘brand’?
With major brands now turning to targeted mobile campaigns, Faye Fraganesti will be giving us the insiders guide to how mobiles are increasingly being used a marketing medium and understanding how the consumer thinks.
Drawing on her experiences as a Wikipedia sociologist, Experience Designer at Yahoo! and as a consultant, Cathy Ma will be talking about how online platforms are the creative industries and giving a run-down of the top 10 things she wishes she’d known as a post-grad and the key lessons learnt.
There will be a Q&A where you’ll get the opportunity to put forward your own questions to the speakers.
This will be an engaging, entertaining and insightful event and we look forward to seeing you there!
