October 25- ‘me maskuline’ exhibition opens, with panel featuring Alex Brew, Del LaGrace Volcano, Grace Lau and Rosalind Gill that will take place between 7 and 8PM, to be followed by Wine Reception in Chapters.
This event is part of Arts and Humanities Week and is also part of the Inside Out Festival, with contribution from Queer@King’s.
October 26 The Two Johnnies: The Nature of Criticism - a conversation between the eminent Professor John Sutherland, author of more than 50 books, including Love, Sex, Death and Words, and The Guardian’s acclaimed satirical columnist John Crace, who will be launching his latest book of “digested reads”, Brideshead Abbreviated. As they put it: ‘this talk may be taken down and used in evidence against us’.
The event will be held in the Great Hall, followed by a free wine reception in Chapters.
