Our first speaker is Patrick Wright (Professor of Visual and Material Culture, King's College), whose publications include Iron Curtain: From Stage to Cold War (OUP 2007), Tank: the progress of a monstrous war machine (Faber 2000), The Village that Died for England (Cape 1995) and A Journey Through Ruins (Radius 1991).
