Undergraduate assessment and feedback dates 2011-12

Assessment and feedback dates for all Department of English Language & Literature Modules.

If you are taking a module based in another department, please follow their dates and submission arrangements.

Semester 1 dates

Midsemester coursework deadline:

Year 1 and 2 (level 4 and 5 modules): Monday November 14, 10.30 - 12.30
Year 3 (level 6 modules): Monday November 14, 14.30 - 16.30

Coursework feedback: week commencing 12 December 2011. (Report form and coursework available for collection from Department Office.)

End semester coursework deadlines:
The following deadlines apply to all students.

Year 1 and 2 (level 4 and 5 modules): Monday January 9, 10.30 - 12.30
Year 3 (level 6 modules): Monday January 9, 14.30 - 16.30

Coursework feedback: week commencing 6 February 2012. (Report form and coursework available for collection from Department Office.)

Study abroad students:
You may hand in your coursework to the Department Office before you leave in December or post it. If you are posting your work you must ensure it arrives in time for the deadline and keep a record of the submission. Many students post their work by FEDEX; we cannot accept coursework by email or by fax.

If you are staying at King's for both semesters you must sit the written examinations in January and submit coursework on Monday January 9, as described above.

Year 3 (level 6 modules): Monday February 27, 14.30 - 16.30

Coursework feedback: week commencing 19 March 2012. (Report form and coursework available for collection from Department Office.)

Endsemester coursework deadline:

Year 1 and 2 (level 4 and 5 modules): Tuesday April 24, 10.30 - 12.30
Year 3 (level 6 modules except dissertations): Tuesday April 24, 14.30 - 16.30
Year 3 Dissertations: Tuesday May 1, 14:30 - 16:30

Coursework feedback: Friday May 25. (Report form and coursework available for collection from Department Office.)

August re-sit and replacement assessment dates (period 3)

Coursework deadline: Monday 6 August 2012
If you wish, you may post your coursework to the department. If you are posting your work you must ensure it arrives in time for the deadline and keep a record of posting.
