It is during the second year that the importance of the first year is reinforced as students begin to deal with issues relating to the development of European institutions in their compulsory unit, and focus on the post-war period in their History, Economics, Politics, Law and Geography options. Individual country options generally focus on the history, politics and culture of the inter- and post-war period.
