Induction 2010

Student stepping on KCL doormat Below is information for all new and returning students regarding French department induction, events in registration week and the first weeks of the Autumn term 2010.

Enrolment is organised by the Centre for Arts and Sciences Admissions (CASA).
 
The French department and staff offices are located on the third floor of the East Wing. French department administrative staff are based on the fourth floor of the East Wing.  Below are links to office hours.

First Year Students

First Year Students - Induction
Friday 24 September, 12.30 - 5pm,  Room K1.28/French Department
Students will be directed to personal tutor offices in the French Department during the afternoon
 
ISS Induction and Library tour for French Single Honours and French 'with' students (Please note that you need only attend ONE of these events)
Thursday 23 September 11.30 - 13:30, Maughan Library, Chancery Lane
 
ISS Induction and Library tour for French Combined Honours Students (Please note that you need only attend ONE of these events, you do not need to attend one for each of your departments) -

Timetable

The timetable for teaching, which commences on 27 September 2010 will be available on the French department website via the quicklinks in due course.
 

Reading Lists

For incoming first year students, reading lists for language and core literature are available on the first year webpages. All French department students in first year, regardless of their programme take 4AAFF120 Core Language and 4AAFF121 Introduction to French Literature.
 
For all optional modules, including second and final year, please follow the links on the left to the correct year and click on the relevant modules for the reading lists.
