Coming from a small university in the US, the idea of studying in London was a bit daunting. But King’s made the transition extraordinarily easy, with a study abroad office always available to help. My courses at King’s covered topics like the French New Wave and Italian Neorealism that I never would have been able to study in depth at Wesleyan; all of my professors were truly experts in their fields and I was surprised by how small and intimate the classes are at King’s.

Living in London has been a dream come true: I live in Hampstead, a beautiful area, and I pass famous buildings, monuments, and squares on my daily commute (the street map given to me by King’s has certainly come in handy!). I’ve seen so many films, been to so many museums and parks, and sampled foods from all over the world here in London. The street markets in London never cease to amaze me, and I’ve had plenty of cheap, delicious meals at Borough Market!

Coming to study in London at King’s was the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m going to miss the excitement and challenges of city life when I return home.
