Irene Nicolaou

Irene studied law at the Athens Law School and holds a bachelor degree (2004) and an LLM in Civil Private Law (2005). Before starting her PhD project she was working as an associate lawyer at a Greek Law Firm specialising in public procurement law, economic law and private law. From 2006 she is a qualified member of the Athens Bar Association.

Irene is an MPhil/PhD Candidate in Law under the supervision of Prof. Paul Matthews and Dr. Leslie Turano. Her research focuses on a comparative analysis of European inheritance laws regarding succession agreements. Her research interests lie in the fields of European Private law, Comparative private law, Inheritance law, Contract Law and Property law.

Irene is interested in teaching, research and consultancy work within any of her research areas.
