Blackboard Vista
Blackboard Vista is the King's College e-Learning Service, a web based online learning environment. Not all of the modules or courses you are studying will necessarily make use of it; you will be registered automatically for those that do. Materials and activities that you will find on Blackboard Vista include:- electronic handouts, notes or presentations posted by your lecturers
- course related announcements
- access to discussion boards
- important dates and deadlines in the online Calendar
- quizzes and formative tests
- the option to submit assignments online
- Different modules will use these features to different extents - your lecturers will keep you informed of what features they are using.
How to login to Blackboard Vista
The Blackboard Vista login page is located at www.kcl.ac.uk/elk. There is also a link to the login page on the Law School web pages.
You must use your King's email username and password to login.
Once logged in you will be presented with a 'course list'. This shows the sections that you have been registered for and will be able to access. Click on a course title to access that section. You will then see any content that your lecturers have added.

Problems
Visit the technical support pages if you have any problems - this includes login/password problems and difficulties with browser settings. Contact the IT Service Desk if you have any support queries.
You will only see the courses that you have been registered to see. If you think you should have access to something that you don't, please contact the lecturers for that course.
