Wikis

A wiki is a website that is developed collaboratively – visitors can edit, create and update the content through their web browser. This ability can be confined to a group of users, or made available to all site visitors. Usually changes made to the site are reflected immediately. The wiki can also function as an archive, as page revisions are kept.

Wikis are quick to set up and very flexible to use – they do not require technical skills, and are an efficient way to share, organise and pool information. PBwiki, wetpaint, and wikispaces are examples of wiki servers, which will host your wiki for free.
