Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Novice Moot

For the first time this year, the law society is organising a moot open only to novice mooters. This is a perfect opportunity for people with no or little mooting experience to moot against others at the same level and get a high level of feedback on how to improve their mooting.

The final of this competition will be held in Freshfields offices’ and will be judged by senior members of the firm.

A novice is someone:
  • Who has not progressed further than the 1st round of any mooting competition
  • Has never taken part in an external mooting competition (i.e. Represented King’s or any other institution at a mooting competition)
  • Must not have taken part in more than 1 mooting competition in the past
Note: Preference will be given to students who have never mooted in the past

Applications for this competition will open in the 2nd term (after Christmas)
