School Education Committee
The Natural and Mathematical Sciences School Edcuation Committee provides an overview of the quality of the teaching and learning experience of undergraduate and taught postgraduate students in the School.
Its role is to ensure quality of provision and to regularly monitor processes and procedures including: quality assurance mechanisms, academic standards, student feedback and how this is input into curriculum design, monitoring and review and teaching and learning activity.
The Committee also approves new modules and programmes in the School; the Approval and Modification Scrutiny Panel (a sub-group of the committee) undertakes the bulk of this work.
