Professor Cowley presents paper in Tokyo, Japan

During a recent visit to Tokyo, Professor Cowley participated in a symposium concerned with licensing and enhancing public health nursing practice organised by the Japanese Academy of Nursing Science and presented a paper about the principles of health visiting as a framework for practice and education. Professor Cowley also took the opportunity to visit colleagues at the University of Chiba to discuss areas of shared interests in teaching and research.

Moving on to Okayama, Professor Cowley presented a paper and hosted a workshop at the university exploring public health issues and the challenge of ensuring quality education of specialist public health nurses.
