Clinical placements

Upon enrolment at the School, midwifery students are allocated a host Trust where they will spend a specified period of time during their course. This introduces students to a wide range of exciting experiences in which to develop their clinical skills.
 
 
The host Trusts and hospitals for pre-registration midwifery programmes are:
 

• Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust
• King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
• Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust
• The Lewisham Hospital NHS Trust
• South London Healthcare NHS Trust (Princess Royal University Hospital)
• South London Healthcare NHS Trust (Queen Mary's Hospital Sidcup).
