NMC Registration
The Programmes Manager is responsible for registering students with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The School runs a variety of NMC approved programmes which can lead to registration or further registration. A full list can be found on the NMC’s web page.
If a student passes a course which requires registration, this will be undertaken by the School once the student has been passed by the relevant board of examiners.
The process involves several stages and relies on electronic communication between the NMC and the School and can take some time, but the parts of the process which are the Schools’ responsibility are usually performed within 10 days of the meeting of the exam board. However, because of the high number of registrations in September, the process can take a little longer.
