Role of Section
• The Clinical Placements Section organises and facilitates the clinical placement of all Pre-Qualification Nursing students and some Midwifery Students.
• The purpose of the placement is to ensure that each pre-qualification nursing student receives sufficient and valid experience in a clinical setting.
• The Placements Section liaises and negotiates with various external agencies, including regular contact with: NHS London, Placement Development Managers, Trust Leads, Link Lecturers, Branch Leaders and other HEIs.
