Role of the Admissions Section
- This Section is responsible for the administration and management of the recruitment and applications process for all Pre-Qualification BSc and Dip HE Nursing and Midwifery Practice programmes.
- This includes monitoring and managing all aspects of the pre-registration admissions process at an internal level i.e. initial queries, organizing and monitoring selection days, providing support to admissions tutors and the pre-registration programme leaders, and processing applications.
- The Section also has responsibility for ensuring the quality of the student record and admissions data held in hard copy and upon SITS. Externally, the Section liaises directly with UCAS and ensures that the School of Nursing adheres to their procedures and practices.
