Dr Lane is happy to offer PhD supervision in the fields of: UK Foreign and Defence Policy since 1939 and Cold War History.

Biography

Dr Ann Lane is Reader in International Politics in the Defence Studies Department. She was previously Lecturer in Politics at The Queen's University, Belfast. She is a member of the Cold War Studies Centre at the London School of Economics, Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, a member of Chatham House, and co-editor of Cold War History (Routledge, since 2001).
