Naked City: The Death and Life of Authentic Urban Places
To celebrate the launch of the new joint MA / MSc in Creative Cities, the Centre for Culture, Media and Creative Industries and the Department of Geography invite you to a lecture by Professor Sharon Zukin (Professor of Sociology at Brooklyn College and the City University Graduate Center)
about her recent book "Naked City: The Death and Life of Authentic Urban Places" (New York: Oxford University Press, 2010).
Time: 17.00
Location: S-2.08 (Strand Building second basement) Strand Campus.

Exhibition: Sacred Images
Migration and Visual Culture: A Theological Exploration of Identity, Catholic Imagery and Popular Culture among Polish Young People. The photographs were first exhibited in the Catholic Cathedral in Plymouth and now as part of the dissemination of research findings the photos will be exhibited in the Chapel at King's College London.

The photographs were first exhibited in the Catholic Cathedral in Plymouth and now as part of the dissemination of research findings the photos will be exhibited in the Chapel at King's College London.

Annual lecture: Can television make history?
Department of War Studies Annual Lecture - 'Can television make history?' Speaker: Norma Percy, Series Producer ( Iran & The West documentary series). Norma was awarded the Orwell Prize 2010 for lifetime achievement.
Edmund J Safra Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Strand, London, WC2R 2LS.
A reception will follow in Chapters on the 2nd floor of the Strand campus.
