Diana is specializing in Gender and Development. She is writing her thesis on the role of women political elites in the struggle against gendered development obstacles in Mozambique, focusing on the urban context of the country’s capital city - Maputo. Using a top-down approach, her research underlines the importance of analysing women elites as transforming agents in development processes. Diana’s work examines theories of development, political representation, and citizenship, from a gender perspective.
