The Centre for Evidence and Policy provides web-based information sources and resources to help researchers in all parts of the world track down policy relevant social science material. As part of this work it has established the Information Retrieval Unit (IRU) to provide access to information to support the development of systematic reviews, rapid evidence assessments and scoping searches.
The IRU is funded by the Matrix Knowledge Group and will work with them and a range of other governmental and non-governmental organisations as well as research groups within King’s College London, providing material to support the development of evidence based policy.
