Professional background and areas of interest
Michelle joined the Social Care Workforce Research Unit in January 2006 as a Research Fellow. Her main area of interest is older people, inter-agency and interprofessional working. Previously, Michelle worked as a Programme Development Manager at Help the Aged and as a consultant for the Department of Health Change Agent Team and the former Healthcare Commission (on various service user and carer involvement projects). Michelle has a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester.
