Professional background and areas of interest

Research into social work education and the social care workforce. Recent work includes membership of the research team involved in the evaluation of the social work degree qualification in England and work for the General Social Care Council looking at progression rates among social work students. Longstanding interest in services for people with dementia and their carers and in ethnicity and ageing.
