First MSc International Marketing cohort graduates

King’s College London awarded degrees to the first cohort of MSc International Marketing students at the graduation ceremony in January 2011. It has been a very successful start for the new Department of Management programme. From the first intake of students, seven have graduated with the award of distinction, and 41 with the award of merit. In addition, several prizes have been awarded:

  • Best overall performance: Juliane Wagner and Donna Chan
  • Best dissertation: Manisha Bhojwani and Donna Chan
Graduates are already making their mark in the world, taking positions in a range of organisations such as Nike, PepsiCola, Olgivy and WeAreSocial. This reflects the diversity of topics covered throughout the programme, ranging from core modules on International Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, to electives such as Services and Retail Marketing; Consumption, Markets and Culture; and International Business Negotiations. Reflecting important issues for organisations in today’s marketplace, new electives Marketing and New Technologies and International Marketing Communications have since been added to the programme, keeping it up-to-date and exciting for those that follow in the footsteps of the first cohort.
