‘The Sociological Quarterly’

Dr Jon Hindmarsh Dr Jon Hindmarsh, Reader in Work Practice and Technology, has had a paper selected as one of five articles to mark the publication of the 50th Volume of ‘The Sociological Quarterly’. The journal has created an online virtual issue entitled 'The Best of TSQ, 1960-2010' that collates the articles that have received the most citations of any papers published in each decade beginning with the 1960s. The paper, 'The Tacit Order of Teamwork' (by Jon Hindmarsh and Alison Pilnick), was selected as it received the most citations of any paper published in the journal in the 2000s. Further information about the virtual issue and the papers selected can be found on the Wiley-Blackwell website.
